Frequently Asked Questions

What can I use it for?

Three things, and usually all three over time. On the floor it is a play mat or a nap bed. Zipped to a second one it becomes a sleeping surface a child does not outgrow in a season. Placed into the Creative Cot it becomes the cushions that turn the bench into a small sofa.

How does it work with the Creative Cot?

In the sofa configuration the 60 × 90 mattress serves as the seat and, with a second one, as the backrest. That is how färska photograph it, and it is why the two colours match the Compact Bed Free - the pieces are meant to be mixed.

Can I join two of them?

Yes. There is a zip along the edge: two Joint Mattresses zip into one larger surface, and the same zip joins it to a Compact Bed Free. The point is that the bed grows sideways instead of being replaced.

Which colour should I take?

Melange Gray and Melange Brown are exactly the shades used on the Compact Bed Free, so pieces bought at different times still look like one set. Beyond that it is only taste - the fabric and the build are identical.

How do I wash it?

Unzip the cover and machine wash it in a laundry bag. The filling itself is not washable: air it, and treat marks locally. The water-repellent face buys you time on most spills if you catch them.

Is it firm enough for a newborn?

It is 4 cm of high-resilience polyester, made as a mattress rather than a soft mat, and it passed Q-TEC testing and a needle inspection. As with any sleeping surface for an infant, use it flat and firm, without extra padding underneath.
