From what age can a child use the bookcase independently?
From 2-3 years. The distance between shelves is 31 cm and the drawers are positioned at the lowest level. Even a three-year-old can reach their things, take a book or toy and put it back without adult help. The bookcase remains relevant for a teenager too - books, gadgets and awards all find their place.
Will the bookcase tip over if a child tries to climb it?
We strongly recommend adding a wall anchor (anti-tip mount) — available as an optional add-on for ₴300. The solid beech frame itself weighs 50 kg, which adds stability, but wall anchoring is a mandatory safety standard for any tall furniture in a children's room.
What is better for a nursery: a bookcase or a closed cabinet?
It depends on the task. I Bookcase combines both approaches: open shelves for books, drawings and toys that should be visible, and two closed drawers for personal small items. The child learns to distinguish between things "for display" and "for themselves".
Does the bookcase hold enough things?
Yes. 4 open shelves and 2 deep drawers with concealed runners. The drawers hold up to 30 kg each. A full children's library, a toy collection and stationery - everything fits with room to spare.
Will the bookcase fit a narrow room?
The width of I Bookcase is 65 cm. That is more compact than most children's bookcases. Raised 8 cm above the floor, it visually does not weigh down the space and allows cleaning underneath without moving furniture.

Yes. The drawers have concealed runners with soft-close. Dampers close the drawer gently and quietly, preventing finger pinching. No slamming, and younger children's sleep is safe too.
How long does assembly take?
About 60 minutes. Most hardware is pre-installed at the factory. You just need to connect the main panels following step-by-step instructions. A Phillips screwdriver or power drill is required. Disassembles just as easily for moving - the design is built for it.
